Flat screen LCD monitor 19". This is excellent for ABC5 (DOS) and ABC6 (Windows). Takes up less desk space and the large clear display is a sight for old eyes. Typical price is around £99, and you can choose the free delivery option (takes 2 or 3 days).
External USB Hard Drive. At last a solution to make backing up easy. ABC has always backed up its own data, but these days you need to backup your whole hard disk (including emails, pictures, windows settings, etc, etc). Simply plug this device into your computer and use Acronis True Image (see below) to copy your hard disk (leave it running overnight if you like -- next day you can unplug the external USB drive and lock it away in a safe). Typical price is around £60.
Acronis True Image backup software. The market leader product, makes backing up and restoring your hard disk (complete disk or individual files or folders) very simple. Typical price is around £25.
Big Screen ABC Allows your ABC5 to run in a Window, and you can resize the window to the full size of your screen. more details
