The ABC FILING Report Designer allows you to drag fields onto a report layout, and set its properties such as colour, font, and number of decimal places.
Some fields in ABC Accounts are Text fields (not Number fields), for example the PRICE fields in the Stock File. With these text fields you cannot set the number of decimal places to be printed........ UNLESS you use this little trick -- Use a Calculated Field instead. Set the Calculation to be the Field name (ie. in the Calculation property enter [Fieldname] ). A Calculated field is a Number Field, and you can set the number of decimal places for it.
