You can produce mailmerge letters with ABC, and you specify the data fieldnames with brackets like <customerCompany>.
If you use <TODAY> this will be replaced by today's date when you print the letter. If you want the date in a different font or colour, just highlight the brackets (by dragging the mouse over it) and select font, colour, size, etc from the toolbar. Tip: make sure you include a couple of blank spaces around the brackets when highlighting.
