Text Only printing

ABC6 now offers even more flexibility for printing text-only to a variety of printers, for example to fill-in your own preprinted forms or labels. Previously ABC6 had an option to print to dot-matrix printers (for those of you who wanted to use multi-part NCR forms) but this option did not work with all other types of printer. Now the dot-matrix option has been renamed to Text-Only Print, and it will work with ANY printer, dot-matrix, laser or inkjet.

One minor point is that ABC (well ABC's programmers) cannot determine the type of the printer you select, so after you change printer you must tick the appropriate box to say if this is a dot-matrix or a lasre/inkjet.

This text-only print button is applicable to Sales Invoices, Statements, and Address labels. If we get requests for other printout where it might be useful, we would consider adding it there. (eg. Payslips, remittance advice notes, cheques)
